According to Reimer , the number of users of BBM increased to 1.1 million people within eight hours . Meanwhile, the BBM app on Android is still in the testing phase or unofficial will be disabled . Android users who already downloaded the application www.bbm.com should visit the website to register and update the official BBM app for Android .
BlackBerry does not reveal when the company will re- release the official BBM app for Android and iPhone .
